Rich Responses
Today, AI Sidekick returns text-based answers. Coming soon, responses will be enriched with embedded videos, hyperlinks to relevant content, and contextual resources — making it easier for team members to take immediate action from within the chat experience.
Smart Nudges
AI Sidekick will gain the ability to send proactive, event-based prompts to users. Rather than waiting to be asked a question, Sidekick will surface timely reminders and nudges — for example: "Hey John, X Course is overdue. Want to jump in?" This keeps team members on track without requiring managers to manually follow up.
Performance Context
AI Sidekick will be able to surface personalized performance insights powered by POS and traffic data. This includes sales targets, team performance metrics, weekly goals, and more — giving store-level leaders a quick, conversational way to check in on performance without leaving the platform.
Additional Data Sources
To extend AI Sidekick's knowledge beyond content natively hosted in Progress Retail, support for external enterprise sources is coming, including Google Drive, SharePoint, and Box. This means your team will be able to get answers from your broader organization's knowledge base — without needing to migrate everything into Progress Retail.
